The ancient egyptians displayed skeletons at celebrations to remind their guests of their mortality, which I think is a tradition that’d be worth bringing back, but I’ll settle for a day when people just try to take the fact that they’ll die seriously. (I am hungover by the way, hence the dark subject matter).
